Fortnite Chapter 3 Leaks We’ve Heard So Far

Chapter 3’s release date is looming upon us. Just what can we expect in the latest season before 2021 ends?

Fortnite Chapter 3 is nearly upon us, and the leaks have been a prominent topic among players in the past few weeks. Many of them didn’t think that Epic Games would release Chapter 3 in early December back then, but their stance soon changed as more legitimate leaks have come out since then. There’s also the fact that the developers have recently confirmed the beginning of the new chapter and “The End”, the finale event for Fortnite Chapter 2. There’s no doubt in our minds that Fortnite will be getting a lot of new content and skins in the Fortnite Item Shop for Chapter 3. A lot of high-profile streamers have been hyping it up as well, so everyone is expecting something big.

The Beginning of “The End”

Akin to the concluding moments back in Season 10, Chapter 2 will be finishing off with a bang with an event that’s simply called “The End”. During these festivities, players will presumably confront the Cube Queen and her minions directly. We already know that the Cube Queen made a short appearance previously in theFortnite Item Shop and tried to consume the Battle Royale map. There were spectrogram images of the Cube Queen’s sound that suggests that she may charge up her pyramid at the center of the map, releasing a barrage of electric currents throughout the Island.

As of now, it remains to be seen how the assault will impact the rest of the map and the Zero Point, but we can’t imagine the results will be good. Some reports suggest that the Last Reality and the Cube Queen will function as strong NPCs that can eliminate players. Are you ready to fight the cubes?

Flying Animals

HYPEX, a well-known Fortnite leaker/data miner and our regular source of leaks, has once again come out with new information regarding Chapter 3. This time around, we’re going to get…seagulls? We still don’t know much about the role the seagulls will be playing in the game though. It’s weird though because seagulls already do exist in Fortnite, but only as decorative elements. Maybe for Chapter 3, we can expect them to be intractable animals, similar to the ravens and sharks that we got from the previous seasons.

The Matrix and Spiderman Skins Potentially Coming to Fortnite

Details are still scarce about Fortnite Chapter 3 beyond the event and seagull leaks, but HYPEX confirmed that there will be at least one major skin collaboration that’ll debut in the early weeks when the new season starts. If the sources are correct, we can expect Neo and Trinity from The Matrix to be featured in the battle royale during the second week of December. It’s assumed that both of the skins and their accessories will be available in the Item Shop, similar to the Dune bundle, but for now, we’ll have to wait and see.

Say Neo isn’t for you. Well, maybe a potential collab with Spider-Man might just tickle your fancy? A leak from HYPEX suggests that Fortnite’s devs over at Epic Games might be working on some sort of web-swinging feature that’s currently codenamed as “WestSausage”. While we won’t mince with the bizarre codename that it was given, there are also data strings that reference “Swing Jump”, “Swing Attach Location”, and “Swing Accelerate”.

We’ve already had a lot of Marvel characters come to Fortnite, but it’s weird how Spider-Man has been conspicuously absent from the past Marvel-themed crossovers. Considering that Spider-Man: No Way Home is about to debut in theaters starting December 17, the timing of it all seems rather a kismet to introduce Peter Parker’s hero as a big addition to the next battle pass. Don’t forget, we just had Carnage who wreaked havoc in the Season 8 Battle Pass, so the timing of having a strong heroic counterpart to that is just right.

Fortnite leaks usually come from data miners since Epic often includes important information and content for their upcoming updates in the earlier patches that they put out. So the job of the data miners is to dig those details out of the game files to let the public know about the future features. At this point, with leakers such as HYPEX being active in the community, very few Fortnite updates and skins launch as true surprises in theFortnite Item Shop.
